What is Pilates? Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates early in the 20th Century as a means of building a strong, healthy, balanced body and mind. Pilates is a specific exercise form that focuses on developing core strength, flexibility and improved postural alignment. It's adaptable to all body types, limitations and most injuries.
